thrusdaymeetingsMeetings held: First Thursday of each month except May, June, July, August and December. Click on the Thursday Meetings image (left) to see Dorcas meeting dates.

Time:1:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall

Meetings begin with Devotion, prayer, and singing usually led by the Pastor, followed by the business / planning meeting which is opened with the LWMLC League Pledge. We close with a devotion made available through LWML-Canada, followed by coffee/tea and a snack. The attendance at the monthly meetings is between 10 to 15. There is a wind-up dinner in June which is well attended by the women of the congregation and everyone enjoys an evening of Christian fellowship and fun. In December, the Dorcas Sisters host a Christmas Luncheon to show the congregation that their contributions and support are appreciated throughout each year. Get well, sympathy cards and friendship cards are sent out on a regular basis.
